FAQ

Where are you located?

Check out our "contact us" page for a map and directions to our clinic. Please note: we are not located on Deep Creek Road, and our clinic is situated mid-way between Salmon Arm and Enderby, not in Enderby itself.

How do I pay for my visit?
Cash, debit, and e-transfer payments are preferred. We also take cheques, Visa, and Master Card.

Payment is due at the time of service. We do not generally offer payment plans.

Do you accept new clients?
Yes! We are always accepting new clients. Wait times for appointments are generally very brief -- sometimes we can even make appointments for the same day.

Can you prescribe medicine without seeing my pet?

No, sorry, it is law that the veterinarian must examine your pet before prescribing medication. It's also required by law that prescriptions are renewed yearly--just like with your family doctor. Once your pet has been examined and the veterinarian has OK'd renewals on the medication, we can easily refill your prescription as needed--just call ahead so we can have it ready for you.

My dog/cat is well-behaved: do I still need to have him leashed/in a crate when we arrive?

Yes! It is very important for the safety of you, your pet, and other clients and their pets that your animal is restrained by leash (dogs) or contained within a crate (cats) when they arrive at our clinic. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you need to borrow a crate or leash please come ask at the office before removing your animal from your vehicle.

We provide in-clinic veterinary care for horses and small animals, as well as mobile care for horses throughout the Thompson Okanagan. Emergency service is provided when the doctors are available via a 24 hr answering service.
